One of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had in my practice was as the Team Chiropractor for the Toronto Argonauts. For 13 years, I worked with the Toronto Argonauts football team on and off the field, helped them stay in peak form, and guided them in healing from injuries. As a once-sponsored athlete and a cycling fanatic, I’ve had my share of sport-related injuries myself.
My lifestyle and my years with the Argos have afforded me a first-hand knowledge of both what it takes to be in an athlete’s body and what it takes to care for one. I’ve made lifelong friends with the Argos’ players; and I guide many of them today, while they continue their life journeys as fathers, coaches, and simply people who never want to get out of shape. Chiropractic for athletes has become a necessary and essential tool in maintaining and achieving high performance as well as a drug-free way to help heal from sports injuries. We have great success in treating conditions such as back pain, disc herniations, stingers, rotator cuff shoulder tendonitis, hip pointers, ankle sprains, patellofemoral syndrome just to name a few.
