posture-1

Good posture is an indication of good health. How one holds their body when sitting, standing or lying down is a good indication of how the body is functioning. When your spine isn’t aligned properly, your posture will follow. Poor spinal alignment can be due to accidents, sports, repetitive strain, computer work and even stress. When the spine is in healthy alignment, your muscles and ligaments are properly balanced and your nervous system functions optimally. This leads to less back and neck pain, pinched nerve problems and you will feel good as well as look good. You will also enjoy less wear and tear on your joints. Poor posture can begin in childhood. The sooner it is recognized and dealt with, the lesser the damage. It’s never too late for a chiropractic check-up.
